An exploration of Britain's changing social landscape, using the traditional laundrette as a setting for environmental portraiture.
Once a familiar fixture of British high streets and working-class communities, the laundrette represents a way of life and a tradition that has gradually become less common.
The project uses this everyday setting to explore the character, atmosphere and visual identity of a disappearing part of British social life, combining portraiture with a sense of place, history and nostalgia.
